Ingredients 101: Hyaluronic Acid

Today skincarelogic is helping us understand what Hyaluronic Acid is and while it has acid in it’s name it isn’t technically an acid in the traditional form. Think of Hyaluronic Acid as a drink of water to your skin. That means it is super-hydrating!

Your skin naturally produces Hyaluronic Acid. This means that your skin readily accepts it in products I use because it is recognizable. As you age, your natural Hyaluronic Acid depletes, so it’s a good idea to add it for a “plumping” effect.

It’s a fabulous ingredient for dry skin, but oily skin can use it too. Sometimes oily skin types can look “flakey” this is because they are lacking water. Hyaluronic Acid is the perfect fix!

Book your facial appointment with me today to experience these Dermalogica products with Hyaluronic Acid:
Skin Hydrating Booster
Super Rich Repair
Dynamic Skin Recovery
Renewal Lip Complex
